Sickboy presents Carafanzine #2

Sickboy’s lastest project is a second ‘zine covering the artist’s fascination with painting caravans. Famed photographer Viktor Vauthier collaborated with Sickboy on a preview video (seen above).

Sickboy’s weird hobby of finding and painting the great British touring equivalent of the New York subway train has culminated in the arrival of ‘Carafanzine #2’.

The artist’s second personal documentary of his caravan painting is a 44-page A5 edition featuring Sickboy’s latest activities, typically involving “fleeing travellers’ yards with Pit Bulls nipping at my ankles.”

‘Carafanzine #2′ offers a comprehensive collection of photographic oddments produced for the first time through the non-futuristic print method of Risograph. Presented in glorious fluorescent pink and black, each ‘Carafanzine #2’ is uniquely hand-finished with drawings, and comes lovingly-packaged with a caravan sticker sheet, and five x A5 Risograph prints.

Priced £39.00, the ‘zines are in a limited edition of 60 and are banded, wax sealed with a temple logo, edition-numbered, signed and hand-finished by the artist.

Hit the jump for exclusive images. Purchase of the ‘zine begins on July 7, 2011 right here.

Os Gemeos ā Fame Festival Photozine

04 October 2010, 23.59 | Posted in Books & Magazines, street art | No comments »

The folks at Hookedblog have just returned from Fame Festival, curated by Angelo Milano in the south of Italy.

Mark Rigney shares, “Os Gemeos were invited over to create works on the streets of Grottaglie for the Festival. As we have taken so many photographs at the Festival, we thought it would be a good idea to put together a series of photo fanzines. I have just finished putting together the first issue featuring photographs of the twins work. As well as their street pieces which you may have seen already I have also included the throw-ups and tags put up by the twins while in town.”

Rigney is also responsible for all of the fine photographs in the ‘zine.
