“Southern California clothing line Us Versus Them’s Miscreants Club has, since it’s inception, served as a coalescing force for the various subcultures they and their followers inhabit.  Throughout art, cycling, skateboarding and motor culture the Miscreants moniker references the outsider status of these disparate scenes.  To showcase this, UVT is launching a Miscreants video series to highlight talent they see around them.  A throwback to old hand painted car club logos, the video shows 2 of their staple artists, tattoo and graffiti artist Menso One, handling the script letters and UVT’s creative director and head designer, Graham Nystrom painting the Miscreants mascot and rocker on the other.”

Project curated by Mike Glory, and Filmed and Edited by Zane Myer.

I love when art and bicycles mingle.

Velocity teams up with Us Versus Them to produce two limited edition versions of their B43 and Chukker model bicycle rims. The B43 model features stylized script print on dark silver (reading “Us Versus Them,” “Velocity” and “Never Stop”) from tattoo & street artist Menso One (TSL/UVT). For the Chukker model a photowrap print of the UVT & Velocity brand names is employed, giving the off the vibe of cracking road paint on aging asphalt.

The rims release in November, and there will be a number of ancillary goods accompanying them.

The project was curated by DGTLXWW’s James Banuelos.
