In this segment, Klayman talks about Weiwei’s process and interest in materials. Important throughout is the notion of the “idea” as the art.

As with our print interview, the video, which was shot in Peter’s Lower East Side apartment, allows Peter the opportunity to convey his creative process, the themes he explores, the collaboration of photography, how he got into taking pictures, and a story about two bad kids he knew growing up.”
