On Friday, July 29th, Exhibition A will host a Print Salon — a rare opportunity to view and purchase Exhibition A prints in person — featuring current and yet-to-be released works by artists including Rene Ricard, James Franco collaborator Kalup Linzy, Jules de Balincourt, Josh Smith, Steve Powers, Richard Phillips, and Olaf Breuning.

assume vivid astro focus (AVAF), a multimedia art collective fronted by Brazilian artist Eli Sudbrack. presents two prints, alternate various aphrodisiacs freely and astronomer verifies asteroid fears, through Exhibition A. Both are archival inkjet prints on paper, in editions of 50.

AVAF recently published an incredibly intricate monograph with Rizzoli chronicling projects at MOCA in Los Angeles, a roller skating rink in Central Park and installations at Massimo de Carlo in Milan and Deitch Projects in New York.

An artist, biker and tattooer, Wes Lang hails from New Jersey. Ahead of a Fall exhibition alongside Scott Campbell, Lang offers two limited edition prints via Exhibition A. Both “Castles in the Sky” (above) and “Where Darkness Never Falls” are limited to runs of 50, with each signed and numbered individually.

New York-based Erik Parker launched two new archival prints with Exhibition A this week. Both “Tucked” and “Untitled (Late Bloomer)” reflect the artists ability to pull influence from high art and vernacular practice. The two still life works also show a certain panache when it comes to color selection. Each print comes in an edition of 50.

Jules de Balincourt is the latest artist to release a limited signed print with Exhibition A. “Dismounted” comes from an original painting shown at White Columns Gallery, a work with a political narrative questioning American and Native American history. The print is released in an edition of 50.

Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon is the latest artist to offer limited edition fine art prints through Exhibition A. Her “Larry Gagosian” is one of the first pieces offered from a series exploring gallery brands, and “Your Self Portrait” plays on the very premise of Exhibition A. Both are perfect examples of Gordon’s signature word paintings.

Both prints are on canvas and limited to an edition of 50.

Three prints launched today at Exhibition A from David LaChapelle. Each offers the artist’s patented collage work as an archival inkjet print on canvas.

Exhibition A is a new members only website selling exclusive editions by prominent contemporary artists. On December 20, 2010 the site will launch a limited sale of “Boat” by underground New York art world hero Renee Richard. A poet and painter, Richard combines sharp cursive lettering with a romantic seascape. The print of “Boat” is prepared in an edition of 100.
