Lego’s architecture series has expanded to included Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s groundbreaking Farnsworth House, built in Plano, IL, between 1945 and 1951. As with other series highlights, this Lego set offers exacting detail and comes complete with a booklet detailing the construction and history of the home.

Art in the Streets opens April 17, 2011 at MOCA and aside from anticipation for the show, we’ve got some collaborative and celebratory product on offer. Montana Paints (MTN) has released a special edition can with art work by Chaz Bojorquez – allowing folks to literally take art to the streets and make art in the streets.

Last night in NYC, Incase and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts celebrated the launch of Incase for Andy Warhol. The event included an installation drawing from Warhol’s seemingly prescient stance on technology and its effect on popular culture with interactive art and music performance. Additionally, the newly released collection was showcased.

The entire event was captured on video via iPhone 4 and streamed live on goincase.com, another feather in the Warhol collection cap – making use of celebrity, technology, and new methods of communication.

Moleskine pays tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s story, The Little Prince, through two limited edition (and very beautiful notebooks). The two notebooks differ in size and detail, but share a special item in the pocket. Throughout both, there are also nods to the story in both drawing and prose.

Supreme will release three limited edition skate decks designed by Robert Longo on  April 9, 2011.

Longo developed an early fascination with all forms of mass media, especially movies, television, magazines, and comic books which continue to influence his art. Robert Longo’s works are filled with deep emotions that are both primitive and at the same time self-conscious. Having studied sculpture, Longo uses graphite like clay, molding it to create images with layered, chiseled lines, that are at once photographic and sculpturesque.

One of the quintessential artists of the 1980s, Longo’s “Men in the Cities” series portrays a group of sharply dressed businessmen writhing in contorted agony.

Tomorrow, Ron English’s Mc Supersize will release in a special porcelain edition through K.Olin tribu. Only 150 pieces have been produced, each individually stamped and numbered.

Out of the cultural milieu that thrived and survived in downtown Manhattan circa 1980 came a musical group whose aesthetic was fun, funky, bold & smart. Female fronted, of its time but out of time, technically adept, purposely naive, conscious but not self-conscious. Dog Eat Dog embodied the best of what came out of that particular time & place along with fellow travelers; DNA, ESG, Liquid Liquid & Sonic Youth – they embraced a sound that was uniquely their own without apologies or regrets but most importantly without pretension or calculation. Writing songs & performing for only three years the band never released a record but still they produced some of the most vital & representational studio & live recordings from this period. That’s why after almost thirty years Dog Eat Dog’s music not only stands the test of time but also instructs the next generation of performers in a brighter, deeper approach to making music.
