Melbourne-based furniture house Jardan recently debuted the Bandy range of stools, which are shown also as a base for small tables. The Bandy collection was inspired by the abstract silhouette of hand-crafted ceramics, with clean polished lines and meticulous timber craftsmanship.

The Bandy stools are available in either solid American oak or feature-grade Australian hardwood, and tables are available with a Corian or stained plywood top.

Australian furniture house Jardan recently opened a new flagship store in Brisbane’s expanding design district. Jardan’s rugs, lighting, homewares, seating and tables will display in a large open showroom created by an in-house design team. The Melbourne-based furniture manufacturer is well known for its progressive designs and sustainable living philosophies, and the designs often feature bold colors and modern silhouettes.

This location joins Jardan’s other showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Nick Garnham’s latest collection for Jardan, Quincy, is all about soulful lines and traditional joinery. The collection finds glory in the details, rounded corners and the finest American oak. Available in 7 different standard stain finishes and a large range of speed stain colors.

Designed by Nick Garnham and Rod Carlson, Jardan’s newly released “The Sunday Chair” reflects a casual ease. As with all of the Australian firms output, emphasis is on upholstery, and here you see the potential of giving the basic American oak frame some real warmth. What’s more is the continued push to full sustainability that makes Jardan an industry leader.

New from Jardan, the Iko Table finds designer Nick Garnham playing with ideas of “tropical luxury.” For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the table set brings a little Australian Summer to our increasingly cold winter. The solid wood legs compliment patterned marble tops – which come in a variety of types and sizes. As always, Jardan is dedicated to sustainable material and ecological design.
