Forthcoming from Gestalten, Arabesque 2 explores the latest graphic design trends coming from the Middle East. With a young generation of designers engaged in promoting a new identity for the region, the moment for inventive manipulation of local visual convention and the international style is now. Edited by Ben Wittner and Sascha Thoma, the book features graphic design, logos, editorial design, and illustration by young designers and activists from Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, and the United Arab Emirates.
The preface is written by John Martin, co-founder of Art Dubai.
