Designed by Carl Magnusson in 2010, the Conflux lamp incorporates a Passive Infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor which senses body heat; when the occupant leaves the room, the light will eventually turn off to conserve electricity and turn on again when the occupant returns. What this means is that in the body of a very slim design is quite a bit of intelligence and green technology.
