Project Aura: Bike Safety Lighting System

Project Aura is a rim-mounted LED bicycle safety lighting system that changes colors based on rider speed.
Ethan Frier and Jonathan Ota, industrial design students at Carnegie Mellon University, are behind the design. Their goal was to address the issue of nighttime cycling accidents and their idea was funded a Small Undergraduate Research Grant (SURG). Learn more at Core 77.
