Tatzu Nishi: The Merlion Hotel Interior

Design Boom has a terrific feature on Tatzu Nishi’s temporary hotel suite at the Merlion Hotel created for the Singapore Art Biennale. The room is built around a Merlion – made of 70 tones of white cement – which stands as a symbol of Singapore. It’s certainly an inventive way of engaging an international audience with local lore.
