Pool’s Remember that You Will Die chair is a (hate to say this, really) refreshing take on the ubiquitous plastic outdoor chair. The basic form is there, clear as day, and then the dark twist just punches it up.

The piece is part of an upcoming exhibition celebrating new French design, entitled New Wave, The New French Domestic Landscape. Opening on April 12, 2011, and running just five days, the Cedric Morissett curated show is hosted in Milan by the French Cultural Center.

Thanks to Micheal La MJC.

  1. [...] I have a confession to make. My taste level is, shall we say, questionable. I tend to gravitate toward the same things that junior high girls do: pirates, argyle, stripes. Thank goodness there’s a way to disguise my love for these things and call it style. I stumbled across this skull patio chair (Pool’s Remember That You Will Die from an upcoming exhibition in Milan), and as I was looking for it, I found some other skull-inspired chairs so I thought I’d share.
