“The Beautiful Struggle: The Art of Dzine” Book

Coming this April from Gestalten, The Beautiful Struggle: The Art of Dzine celebrates the artists unique vision of American contemporary art. He takes urban forms – the lowrider car and bicycle – and offers baroque takes on already gaudy vehicles. In so doing, Dzine forms narratives that push beyond the spaces his vernacular art grows from, and gives voice to marginalized folk art in the larger art world.
