Not long ago, I shared the short film about Ai Weiwei’s time in New York (Ai Weiwei: New York Photographs 1983-1993), directed by Alison Klaymon. Klaymon is also responsible for the forthcoming full length documentary Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry. The work will be the first long form exploration of the Chinese contemporary artist’s life and work.
