Based in Portland, Maine, Eric Giddings does more than just create likenesses of famed musicians and athletes. Manipulating a series of lines and shapes, Giddings’ Legend Lines are simple portraits from a far, and when viewed close up reveal concise patterns. In his work, Giddings hopes to “blur the line between poplar culture and high end art.” Does he succeed?
