Grafitti Shoe Portraits

Photographer Ozkar Gorgias’ series depicting the “life and adventures of graffiti writers,” includes these – what I’ll call – shoe portraits. The are a nice bit of material culture, shoe at metonym for the writer, and also a vehicle for their history in paint. Very cool idea. (via LaMJC).
Large scale examples after the jump.
