Preview | Rosson Crow: Myth of the American Motorcycle

From November 6, 2010, Rosson Crow will exhibit new paintings alongside an unlikely companion – a series of custom motorcycles. The exhibition, Myth of the American Motorcycle, marries these painted vehicles with Crow’s large-scale, meticulously researched work. Crow pulls from biker bars, cross-country runs, and punk clubs to create her vision of motorcycle lore.
This is another great theme undertaken by Crow, who continues to tackle the notion of history painting in unique ways while seamlessly building her personal aesthetic.
The exhibition will run through April 3, 2011 at the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati.
A little preview of exhibited work from the upcoming exhibition after the jump.
