“Black & Grey Tattoo: From Street Art to Fine Art” Book

Marissa Kakoulas, author of Black Tattoo Art and editor of the superb Needles and Sins blog, has added to her catalog with the publication of Black & Grey Tattoo: From Street Art to Fine Art. Over three volumes, Kakoulas covers the traditional (what the old school guys just simply call black and grey), “Dark/Horror” (with a look at Paul Booth), and finishes with a tract on “Photorealism.”
As a comprehensive overview of the style, the book has no equal. Published by Edition Reuss.
A look at each individual volume and some other images after the jump.
