Plumen Designer Lightbulb

Hulger’s new Plumen 001 Lightbulb has been making the design blog rounds. Reasons for this are two fold. One, the lighbulbs have a delightfully unique shape – making them centerpiece rather than accessory to lamp. Second, they’ve got an eight year lifespan. The bulbs are billed as the “first designer low energy lightbulb. They are pretty cool.
