John Cederquist describes his furniture as such, and who can disagree? His inlay, creating two dimensional narratives on three dimensional forms, is superb. He draws on Japanese prints, American cartoons, and more in his unique constructions. Cederquist’s is fine art furniture… and, it is some of the best I’ve had the privilege of seeing.
