Stand Hanger ‘Axis’ by Ramei Keum

South Korean designer Ramei Keum’s latest offering elongates the basic hanger form in stainless steel to form a standing rack. It’s a simple notion, function informing form. The best feature comes at the ends – which indeed act as a regular coat hangers.

Keum’s notion doesn’t require much in the way of design theory. Nor does it operate on mind boggling notions of human need. In its basic articulation of an idea ‘Axis’ just works.
