Performance Nude – Fionna Banner

Fionna Banner’s unique textual treatment of nude models is illustrated in Performance Nude, a new book newly published by Other Criteria. Rather than using models, Banner focuses on “real” women. The book features critical examination of her work by Michael Bracewell, as well as extended interviews with the artist.

To launch the publication, Other Criteria will be hosting a live nude performance tonight (March 24, 2010) at their space on 121 Charing Cross Road, London. Taking place from 6 to 8 pm, it will be a excellent opportunity to view Banner’s work in full.
