Now in full swing, Philagrafika 2010 is Philadelphia’s international festival celebrating print in contemporary art. Venues around the city (over 80) are participating, bringing 300 print artists into the fold.

The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is one of the venues hosting Philagrafika events. Their exhibition, The Graphic Unconscious, runs the full length of the festival (closing on April 11, 2010) and presents the work of seven international artists who explore the medium of print in new and inventive ways. The above video from Indonesian artist group Tromarama is one example. They use print in animation, creating the visuals for a song by Seringai.
