Van Doesburg & The International Avant-Garde at Tate Modern

Opened on February 4, 2010, Van Doesburg & the International Avant-Garde is the first exhibition dedicated to the Dutch artist mounted in the United Kingdom. Founder of the De Stijl movement, Van Doesburg travelled extensively through Europe and had profound influence on the Bauhaus and Russian constructivism. The Tate Modern follows Van Doesburg through 350 objects, and reveals the pivotal role of the multidisciplinary artist.
