After its run at the Portland Museum of Art, Call of The Coast has moved to the Florence Griswold Museum. Located in Old Lyme, CT, the museum’s surroundings were a major call to many New York artists through the early part of the 20th-century. Among those that visited Old Lyme, Childe Hassam might be most famous, but he’s certainly not the only one that make a mark on the local art scene. Given its history, the Florence Griswold might be the perfect place to view Call of the Coast. The exhibition runs there until January 31, 2010.
