Beyond Limits: A Selling Exhibition of Modern & Contemporary Sculpture

Yesterday marked the opening of Beyond Limits. The forth selling exhibition presented by Sotheby’s, the event has become one of the most prestigious sales of modern & contemporary sculpture. As a setting, Chatsworth House has little equal, and the Capability Brown designed gardens are a wonderful platform for the 30 assembled works. Above is Henry Moore’s “Three Piece Reclining Figure: Draped.” More sculpture can be found in the online catalog, and the exhibition will remain on view at Chatsworth until November 1, 2009.
