Jon Burgerman “My American Summer”
04 August 2009, 20.00 | Posted in Art | 2 comments »

British mixed-media artist Jon Burgerman has spent his summer vacation visiting New York and Los Angeles. While traveling, he’s produced a new body of work that makes up the forthcoming My American Summer exhibition at Giant Robot New York. After nearly 3-months in the States, Burgerman has created drawings and 3-dimensional objects that focus on cliched observations and the nature of difference in homogenized cities.
My American Summer opens on August 15, 2009. Giant Robot New York is located at 437 E. 9th Street, New York, NY.
More of Burgerman’s drawing after the jump.
