Art history buffs rejoice! The Louvre is planning to make available it’s comprehensive online database (some 22,000 works of art) in English. This means you can learn more about the above Da Vinci portrait of Isabella D’Este without translating from French. Yes, many art history buffs are fluent in several languages, but many of us are not so lucky. Something to look forward too in the near future (read tomorrow). (via NYT).
