Built atop the historic center of Malaga, the Museo Picasso celebrates the home town artist with an ambitious space. Designed by Gluckman Mayner Architects, the museum is formed by a fully restored 16th-century palace and six new buildings. These spaces allow for rotating exhibitions, permanent displays, and a full range of public programing. Most impressive, the structure protects and preserves the archaeological past of the site.
