Zaha Hadid Architects has unveiled plans for the Stone Park district of Cairo. The Stone Towers will provide mixed use space, in a series of twisting structures. The impetus is to provide much needed retail and business facility in the rapidly expanding city. Hadid has incorporated the texture and tradition of Ancient Egyptian stonework into the design. More of Stone Towers after the jump.

i really don beleive in Zaha\’s concepts especially in cairo
she designed only for making a shape (as usual) she just put her chracter in designs
so where\’s every city chracter and condition (climates , people tradition beleives ) it has to be reflected on the Architecture designs ,, i don think she thinkked about it at all
and when she asked about it whie lecturing in cairo conference center she didn\’t even reply about it and moved to the other point
i really like her concepts but it\’s not always usefull believe me those project will as an architectural not succeeded at all but as a propganda people will run and sale for it (it\’s zaha\’s design)
really hope Zaha read my mail
Architecture it\’s for humanity and reflect every city chractristic what she did for humanity ?
in this way after a period of 50years for example the whole world will be the same
and all cultures will appear? so where every country civilization that every other country can learn from it
anyways i don like what will happen in cairo ,,
