Todd Schorr: American Surreal | Video Preview

In June, the San Jose Museum of Art opens American Surreal, the first mid-career retrospective of the work of Todd Schorr. Schorr is a leading figure in Southern California’s cartoon-based movement, which embraces low-brow culture. The exhibition is curated by Susan Landauer, SJMA’s Senior Scholar and Curator of Collections. American Surreal will run from June 20 to September 16, 2009. (via Juxtapoz).
