Frank Lloyd Wright, Complete Works 1943-1959 is part of an exhaustive three part monograph of the architects work, covering some 1,100 designs. This installment includes the post-war years and the “living architecture” period. In this, Wright introduced ideas about solar energy use and curved open spaces. Most famously, these ideas played out in the design of New York’s Guggenheim Museum.

Author Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer is well versed in Wright’s work, having been an apprentice of the architect at Taliesin for much of 10 years from 1949 to 1959.
