Scott Morrison

As a fan of the fine woodwork of Sam Maloof, there is a quality to Scott Morrison’s work that resonates immediately. Morrison works in Montana, where he spends his days sculpting hand selected wood into elegant joined chairs and stools. Among these, his Chair 11 (above) and the Rocker Cradle (after the jump) give unique, personal takes to traditional craftsmanship.

I have to say that his work is certainly different to any I have seen before, I do like that cradle chair in an odd sort of way.
Original rocker cradle designed and patented by Spanish designer, Ramon Castellanos.
Material used is pine wood and a later version done in rattan and cane.
