Stemming from the housing competition launched by Syracuse University’s Home HeadQuarters, the R House by Architecture Research Office (ARO) is a prototype for innovative green housing in Syracuse. The project is a collaborative effort between ARO and Della Valle Bernhiemer. With the design they create a single family home, in keeping with the scale of the neighborhood, that maximizes energy efficiency. The home will be built later in the year at a grand cost of $150,000. (via Wallpaper*).
