Bunkers: Ruins of War in a New American Landscape by Alex Fradkin documents the architecture of war throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Most often, the bunkers were never used for their true purpose, having been built in anticipation of battles that never occurred. Fradkin’s photographs will be published in a forthcoming book from Chronicle Books. (via Daily Icon).
More from Bunkers after the jump.
