Inspired by Bauhaus tradition, Brazilian designer Paulo Mendes de Rocha’s Paulistano chair is clearly at peace with its European contemporaries. The chair was designed and first put into production in 1957. Previously unavailable in the United States, it has recently joined the ranks at Design within Reach. Not only did they bring this classic to the US, they also offer it in the above limited edition using "Pucci" fabrics.
Constructed of a continuous steel frame, the chair allows for easy adjustment of the leather sling.
